You all have abused the character creator in ways that only Rainbow Snake could love, and now it's time to announce the winners (losers?). We always get some fantastic submissions for our contests, but picking the winners out of the entries this time was not easy. Spring Harvest

Spring is the time for fresh fruit! Help Hirinerk by collecting refreshing fruits and trading them in for prizes. Hirinerk will be in Atreia collecting fruit until May 4, 2016.

- HOW TO PARTICIPATE -

Part One: Fragrant Fruit Box

Every day you log in during the event period, you will receive an [Event] Fragrant Fruit Box. The Fruit Box will appear in your inventory 10 minutes after you logged into the game. To receive and use your daily Fruit Box, you must pick it up between the server hours of 9 AM and 4 AM the following day. The freshness of the Fruit Box will last about 5 hours, and every 30 minutes, you can open the box to receive (1) random fruit. The types of fruit you can receive are [Event] Vinna, [Event] Rubus, [Event] Pineapple and [Event] Fig, with the Fig as the rarer of the fruits. We have a few options for acquiring the Fig including picking it up from the store, quest trades, or from instance bosses!



Part Two: Fruit Trade

If you have a stack of the same event fruit, Hurunerk will be more than happy to trade you an[Event] Fig for them.



Part Three: Fig, Fig the Magical Fruit

Instance bosses from the listed instances also have a chance to drop the delectable Fig. Pry the tasty fruit from their cold dead hands.

Rainbow Snake Festival

As is written in The Kaledeiscopic Journals, the second coming of our multicolored Savior is upon us! Once again Rainbow Snake, in Hiss chromatic brilliance, has arrived to honor us. In the capital cities, Rainbow Snake disciples have gathered to extol the virtues of the Rainbow Path. During the next four weeks, Hiss disciples will offer buffs and gifts to all Daevas who would bask in Hiss prismatic beauty.

- HOW TO PARTICIPATE -

Blessing of the Prismatic Serpent

During the festival period, every Wednesday after the maintenance, Hebi Rumin will offer you an [Event] Rainbow Gift. The bundle offers one 1-Day costume for Rainbow Snake, Spotted Snake or Turquoise Snake. Wearing Hiss robes will bring you one step closer to the Rainbow One.




For the Glory of Rainbow Snake

Rainbow Snake is known for Hiss benevolence. Stay logged into the game and every hour you’re on, you’ll receive a scale from Hiss Chromatic Brilliance. There are three different scale colors, all acquirable by simply playing the game. After the first hour, you’ll receive the Blue Scale; the second hour, a Yellow Scale; and the third hour, a Red Scale. Right-click any of these scales to combine into the Brilliant Scale. You can exchange the Brilliant Scale with Baem Rumin for an [Event] Chromatic Gift.

Raid Support

Beginning on April 6, 2016, join other players to take down world bosses and earn prizes. In Levinshor and Kaldor, Guardian deities will appear and it will take large groups to defeat them.


- HOW TO PARTICIPATE -

Every day at 8:00 pm server time, raid bosses will spawn in Levinshor or Kaldor. The top 50 contributers of the faction credited with defeating the boss will receive a prize box.

When Guardian Generals Dux and Stallari spawn, you must kill the opposing race's boss first.

Rainbow Snake's Ugly Children

Those glorified by the gaze of the Rainbow One are judged not by the size of their wings or the prescence of manes. The Aion team, on the other hand, absolutely judges - and harshly. And we want to see the most foul creations you can come up with using our character creator!


- HOW TO PARTICIPATE -

1. Using Aion's character creator, create the strangest, ugliest character you can. 
2. Take a screenshot and email it to us at AionCommunity[at]NCSOFT.com
3. Using the subject line "Aion Rainbow Snake's Ugly Children Contest" the email must also include your character name and server, as well as the phrase, "this email is submitted as an entry in the Aion Rainbow Snake's Ugly Children Contest."
4. The entry period is from April 6, 2016 to April 27, 2016. Winners will be decided by the Aion team based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme. (The uglier the better!)
5. Winners will be announced on April 28, 2016. Prizes will be delivered on or before May 4, 2016.

Unbound Enchantment

Starting retroactively from March 30, 2016 enchant your gear to win prizes! For the next 5 weeks, enchanting any gear up to +20 will earn you prizes like the Executioner's Costume Set. 

- HOW TO PARTICIPATE -
Any gear enchanted to +20 or higher starting retroactively on March 30, 2016 until May 4, 2016 will be eligible for rewards.
Item creation date will not matter, only the date of the final enchantment level. For example, if you bought a weapon in 2015 but didn't enchant it to +20 until the event period, then you will receive prizes.
Gear that was enchanted prior to March 30, 2016 will still count as long as you've enchanted another piece of gear during the event period or if you successfully add at least one level to the pre-existing gear.
For example, if you enchant two items to +20 prior to March 30, 2016 but nothing during the event period, you will not receive a prize.
But, if you enchant one additional piece of gear during the event period you will receive the prize for three items. Or, if you enchant one of the pre-exisiting items to +21 during the event period you will receive the prize for two items.
To help with the enchanting process, the Bona Fide Bootleg items will be available on the BCM, and the enchantment buff will remain active until May 4, 2016.
Enchanted items must either be equipped or in your character inventory by the maintenance on May 4, 2016 in order to count. Gear that is on the Broker, in the mail, in the account/character warehouse, or pet/housing storage will not be counted.
Rewards will be calculated per character.

Bona Fide Bootlegs

Shugos are professionals when it comes to dealing goods but recently a couple of them got involved with bootlegs. While not at the standard of Shugo craftmanship, Macrunerk and Yenrinerk have discovered phasing items into our world by pulling it from another dimension. In order for the phased item to continue to exist, it must be aetherized by enchantment stones. Enchant any bootleg items offered by Macrunerk and Yenrinerk to the items max enchantment level and at the end of the event, you’ll receive the actual item! This is great for gear you’ve been wanting to get your hands on!
- HOW TO PARTICIPATE -
Legitimate Bootleg

Purchase a Bootleg Modor’s Weapon or Armor Box from Macrunerk or Bootleg Abyss Weapon or Armor Box from Yenrinerk to enchant. The Bootleg Modor's Boxes are Mythic, while the Bootleg Abyss Boxes are actually Eternal gear despite the color. You will still need to treat the bootlegs like a Mythic should you chose to use any supplements or Felicitous Socketing. Each bootleg box contains items only your class can use and you can select the item you wish to enchant. To successfully convert the bootleg into the real deal, you must successfully enchant the item to its max enchantment level. Once reaching the max, the bootleg will be phased into the real item once the event period is over. Item enhancements such as manastones, godstones, and augmenting/conditioning will also transfer over on the max enchantment level bootlegs! To aid you on our your success of reaching the max enchantment level for the item (or items), all unsuccessful enchantment between level 10 to 15 will only result in the loss of one enchantment level, instead of going back to +10!

Any bootlegs with enchantments lower than the items max will be removed from the game after the event ends. In the meantime, you can still use the item!


- ENCHANT ALL THE THINGS -

During the event period, enchanting armor and weapons will also receive the benefit of only losing one enchantment level should the enchantment fail. This only applies to enchanting gear with enchantment stones; tempering is unaffected

The enchantment buff only applies to enchanting before max level. Any enchanting failure after manxium level is unaffected. Omega Enchantment stones already have this effect and do not receive any additional benefits.

Any items sucessfully enchanted to +15 will be converted during the next maintenance. That means no waiting around for the event to end to receive the real item!

Example: If you successfully enchant an item to +15 on March 30, 2016 then you'll receive the real item with the maintenance on April 6, 2016.


- Location -

Macrunerk and Yenrinerk can be found by the Legions Board in Pandaemonium and Elyos Square in Sanctum.


- Rewards -

Players who fully enchant a bootleg weapon or armor will receive the real item at the end of the event.
