Power Up Week Returns

Greetings Daevas!

Power Up Week has returned and will be running from August 22 to August 29. These server-wide buffs will greatly help when attempting to temper or enchant Essence Cores, Accessories, and Stigmas:
  1. Attempts to enchant a Stigma that are unsuccessful will only result in a decrease of one enchantment level rather than the destruction of the item
  2. Attempts to temper accessories (Hats, Earrings, Necklaces, Rings, and Belts) that are unsuccessful will only result in the decrease of one tempering level rather than the destruction of the item
  3. Attempts to enchant Essence Cores that are unsuccessful will only result in the decrease of one enchantment level, if using Omega Enchantment Stones, rather than the destruction of the item

During Power Up Week you can restock on enchanting items on the web store or by visiting the in-game shop. Be quick though, Power Up Week will only be here for one week until August 29! Take advantage of these buffs before it’s too late.

Kumuki's Daring Rescue

Ember and friends have returned to Atreia seeking assistance on defeating the Kumukis once again. Their prized Porgus, Poppy, is looking at impending doom without the assistance from the Daevas! You will need to infiltrate the Kumuki Cave alone and save all the Porguses before they are turned into Porgus BBQ. Hansel and Gretel will give out prizes to Daevas for each Porgus they are able to rescue.

- How To Participate -

In the Capital Cities you’ll find Gretel the Mischievous looking for the assistance of any level 46+Daeva willing to help. She has a carriage that will send you to the Kumuki Cave where Hansel the Troublemaker is waiting to tell you how you can help.

Once inside, Hansel will inform you that the Porguses are being held in cages at the end of the cave, and you only have 15 minutes before it’s time for dinner! Opening the gate will transform you into a Shabby Kumuki which also grants two special abilities. You can also grab a Shabby Kumuki Transformation Scroll from the Supplies Box next to Hansel if you need it.

Fear Grenade

Causes the target to be feared and disappear.

Stink Bomb

Causes a group of Kumukis to be temporarily paralyzed.

You’ll need to use these abilities to progress through the cave in a stealthy manner avoiding the Kumuki’s line of sight. Throughout the cave you’ll also discover objects that you can use to disguise yourself and remain undetected. However, if you’re detected too many times, the butcher will be alerted and kill the Porguses before you get there.

As you make your way through the cave, you’ll need to keep an eye out for four Key Chests, which contain the keys required to save the individual Porguses. Also hidden in the cave is a Suspicious Box which has the key to open the Kumuki Crate at the end.

Looking for a bit of experience while saving the Porguses? Be on the lookout for three Nutritious Ginseng that can be found in the cave. Killing them will grant EXP so be sure to end their fleshy rooted lives if you have time! Ember also has a quest for those that wish to defeat the Nutritious Ginseng, so be sure to pick that up before heading inside. You can also choose to kill the Kumuki inside for EXP, but doing so will cause the Porguses to meet with a terrible fate.

For each Porgus you save you’ll earn one Poppy’s Gift Bundle (but only if you talk to them after opening the cage door), and an additional one if you open the Kumuki Crate (remember to find that special key!). Each Poppy’s Gift Bundle will yield a random amount of Poppy’s Letters as well as other items. Ember is eagerly seeking these letters as they contain secret information about how to defeat the Kumukis. You can exchange the letters, Spinel Medals, and (sometimes) AP, with Ember for various prizes.

On the store you’ll be able to purchase Bonus Entry Scrolls to go as many times as you wish!

- Rewards -

For the full list of rewards, please visit the forums here.

Ember, along with Hansel and Gretel, only have three weeks before they need to return home, so be sure to help the Porguses while there’s still time. Kumuki’s Daring Rescue runs from August 8 to August 29.
