Code Red: Atreia 2016

Rumor has it a ground shattering force is making its way to Atreia and to ensure Daevas are prepared for the battles ahead, the medical crew has dispatched to hand out special buffs and items.

Medical camps have been dispatched across the world and will remain until July 13, 2016 for players levels 10+. Visit one of these daily camps for potions, scrolls, and stigma shards. The attending nurses will been available for regular booster shots to assist in your everyday adventures.

Aion Online Professions - What is Profitable?

Professions represent just one of the numerous intriguing aspects of Aion Online game-play and while their direct impact on the overall game-experience is questionable in some cases, they do indeed add to the depth of the action, and some of these professions can indeed be profitable in the long-run. What exactly are we looking at though? We have Weaponsmithing, which is a rather interesting-sounding proposition indeed, as it allows players to work some metals and to make various melee weapons such as maces, polearms, swords and daggers.

Armorsmithing sounds equally attractive: it's about the ability to manufacture plate- and chain armor as well as helmets and as such, it involves some metal-working skills as well.

Handicrafting will endow players with the ability to make various rings, necklaces and earrings as well as offensive weaponry in the shape of bows and staves - mostly stuff made out of wood.

Tailoring is about making leather armor, belts and cloth armor, while Alchemy allows those who master it to create magical scrolls, potions, orbs as well as spellbooks. Cooking - although it may not look like much at first glance - is in fact one of the most interesting and potentially most rewarding professions. It allows players to create food which restores health, mana and provides temporary boosts to various abilities.

Despite the fact that they seem to be the least glamorous of the bunch, when it comes to kinah-making, Cooking and Alchemy seem to be the right choice. Alchemy is what many swear on in this respect and it is indeed very profitable, but its tie-ins with aethertapping and gathering may make it uncomfortable for some. For those with a single toon, a combination of the two is also a decent-enough option. Master Cooking goes well with Expert Alchemy, as it will allow players to make food tables and the balic jellies and foods as well as the various attack/run/cast scrolls.

Those looking to have access to several professions will need to employ alts though. The thing about the whole Aion online profession system is that it requires a certain degree of dedication on the part of the player. There are players for instance who enjoy gathering , but because it now takes so long, for others it is a true bane...therefore, when picking a profession, it is also important to know what it will require of you and whether you will enjoy fulfilling those requirements...otherwise it will all degenerate into a dire grind and you will end up losing interest.

The Scattered Deck Returns

Mysterious cards have been surfacing in Atreia. Rumor has it that these cards belong to Lady Triniel and it possess great power if one knows how harness it. However, rumors are rumors; sounds like just another story about an item of power passed on by the Atreian ancestors. Well, if you happen to come across these mysterious cards, there are Card Collectors in the capital cities that are more than happy to exchange the useless item for a handsome reward.


- How to Participate -
Instance bosses will have a chance to drop Mysterious Cards. Collect 10 cards and trade them in for a Mysterious Reward Box.

Homeward Bound Event

With Aion: Echoes of Eternity announced, now it is a great period for Daevas to return to Atreia. To help new and returning Daevas, The Giving Ayas flock have brought their gifts and cheer into the world. If you have the Returning User or New User title, the sheep-like creatures will be able to give you a helping dance!



- How to Participate - (June 8 to June 29)

New and Returning Players Only

Speak with Friendly Ayas daily for (1) [Event] Ayas Daily Transformation Candy Box. The candy box offers your choice of Aya candy. For returning players, Friendly Ayas will also offer you an [Event] Ayas Fuzzball Support Bundle for your grand return to Atreia. For new players, HelpfulAyas will give you an [Event] Ayas Fuzzball Welcome Bundle. These bundles are filled with goodies to set you on our journey.

At the same time, potion of Liquid Experience will drop in world and in several instances for new and returning players. Consume any Liquid Experience for an immediate boost of EXP.



All Players

To welcome all new and returning Daevas, all Daevas will receive an [Event] Ayas Daily Transformation Candy Box via survey one per character per server per account. Collect the survey any time before the end of the event.

The Giving Ayas flock is near the Exalted Path in Sanctum for Elyos and near the Vifrost Bridge in Pandaemonium for Asmodians.

Purple Reign Returns

With Aion: Echoes of Eternity around the corner, a renewal of allegiance surges around Beritra, securing footholds in strategic locations throughout the land. Bearing violet banners as a mark of fealty, these armies are spreading like blight, turning all to death and destruction.

Answer this insolence, Daevas. Seize their banners, loot their spoils, and show them that Atreia is not theirs for the taking.
