Aion Classic EU Players Rush Into Ignite Update and Phoenix Class

Aion Classic EU is alive and busy again.

Less than a day after the launch of Update 4.5 “Ignite”, players across EU servers are diving into the new content, testing Phoenix builds, and pushing toward the newly raised level cap of 75. With a new class, new zone, and multiple progression changes now live, the update is already reshaping the Classic experience.

For many returning players, Ignite feels like the start of a new era for Aion Classic.

Phoenix Class Takes Center Stage

The biggest headline from Update 4.5 is the arrival of the Phoenix, a mid-range magical DPS class built around speed, mobility, and explosive damage windows.

Armed with Flame Revolvers and leather gear, the Phoenix generates Overcharge Energy through critical hits, allowing players to chain together high-damage combos and AoE bursts. Early feedback from players suggests the class performs well in both PvE and PvP thanks to:

  • Strong mobility and repositioning tools
  • Airborne control and pull abilities
  • Burst-focused combo gameplay
  • Effective AoE farming potential

The class is quickly becoming one of the most played options on EU servers as players experiment with builds and test its endgame viability.

Teva Becomes the New Endgame Hub

Alongside the new class, players are exploring Teva, the latest open-world zone designed for levels 65–75.

The zone introduces:

  • Rotating anomalies and field missions
  • Rare mobs and hidden island encounters
  • Weekly currency systems
  • Monster taming via Prism Cores
  • Solo and group progression paths

Teva is quickly becoming the central hub for players leveling toward the new cap and farming updated gear.

Level Cap 75 and New Gear Progression

Ignite raises the level cap to 75, opening the door to a new tier of progression.

Players can now pursue:

  • Battle Armour gear upgrades
  • Arcamant equipment
  • Fabled Manastones
  • Updated Stigmas and skill adjustments

These additions provide fresh goals for both returning veterans and active players pushing toward endgame optimization.

Beast Rival War and Launch Events Active

Several live events are also running alongside the update, including the Beast Rival War event and progression bonuses tied to the Ignite launch.

Players can take part in:

  • Event-based PvE and PvP activities
  • Boosted leveling opportunities
  • Shop refresh items and cosmetics
  • Survey rewards and login bonuses

These events are helping populate servers as players return to test the new content.

A Busy Start for Aion Classic in 2026

With a new class, expanded progression, and active events all launching together, Update 4.5 marks one of the most active periods for Aion Classic EU in recent memory.

Early player response suggests strong engagement, with many returning to try the Phoenix class and explore Teva’s new content.

If this momentum continues, Ignite could shape the direction of Aion Classic throughout 2026 — and bring a fresh wave of players back into Atreia.
