AION 2's Global launch is not content with simply opening the servers and hoping everybody finds something to do.
NC has announced four community launch events running throughout October and into November, covering everything from character creation and screenshots to player-written guides and competitive Transcendence Dungeon rankings.
The rewards range from Dye Tokens and permanent Discord titles to 6,000 Quna and tens of thousands of Enhancement Stones, so there is something here for both the person who spent three hours perfecting their character's nose and the person who intends to spend three hours shaving twelve seconds off a dungeon run.
The four events are Daeva Makeover, Guides for Glory, Transcendence Dungeon Leaderboard and Beauty of Atreia.
Daeva Makeover: Win 6,000 Quna With Your Character
The first event is already underway and celebrates one of AION's oldest traditions: taking character creation far too seriously.
Daeva Makeover runs from September 30 through October 19 and asks players to submit two screenshots from the Closet menu, one headshot and one full-body image.
There are four winning categories:
- Ugly – 6,000 Quna
- Cute – 6,000 Quna
- Attractive – 6,000 Quna
- Unique – 6,000 Quna
Even participants who do not win receive two Dye Tokens. Entries are submitted through the official AION 2 Discord and must include your region, server and character name.
Given how much attention AION has always paid to appearance, wings and fashion, this may be the least surprising launch competition imaginable.
Guides for Glory Rewards Players for Helping Everyone Else
The second event begins with the AION 2 free-to-play Global launch on October 5 and runs until November 2.
Guides for Glory asks players to create useful guides covering Global AION 2 content. Beginner advice, class breakdowns, dungeon mechanics, lifeskills and Abyss guides are all valid subjects.
Up to ten winners will receive 4,000 Quna, promotion through AION 2's official channels, placement in the permanent Official Guide section on Discord and the permanent Tutor of Atreia Discord title.
There is one important restriction: eligible guides must have been created on or after September 30. Older material can be used as the foundation for a new guide, but NC wants submissions specifically updated for the Global version.
That distinction makes sense because, as we have covered before, AION 2 Global does not simply copy the current Korean version. Systems, progression and balance can differ, which makes Global-specific guides considerably more useful than translating something written months ago for another region.
Transcendence Dungeon Leaderboard Has the Biggest Rewards
If writing guides or photographing your Daeva sounds suspiciously peaceful, the Transcendence Dungeon Leaderboard provides the opposite end of the launch event spectrum.
The competition is already running on Advanced Access servers and continues through November 2. Players entering with the October 5 launch can participate from that date onward.
The participating dungeons are Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis. Clearing them earns Rank Points, with rankings separated by both server and class.
That is important because the rewards are substantial.
Players finishing in the Top 10 receive:
- 35,000 Enhancement Stones
- 30 Unique Amplify Stones
- 1 Philosopher's Stone: Revelation
- 5 Soul Codex Resets
- 20 Bound Resurrection Spiritstones
Positions 11 through 50 still receive 12,000 Enhancement Stones, 15 Unique Amplify Stones, three Soul Codex Resets and ten Resurrection Spiritstones.

Beauty of Atreia Turns Screenshot Hunting Into an Event
The final competition is Beauty of Atreia, running from October 5 through November 9.
Rather than focusing on combat, players submit screenshots based on changing themes. The opening week focuses on The World, followed by weeks dedicated to Characters and Pets. Weekly winners eventually progress into a final community vote.
Entries can be submitted through Discord or social media using the #BeautyOfAtreia hashtag, with region, server and character information included.
Weekly selections receive Shop Tokens and Dye Tokens, with additional rewards connected to the final community vote.
It is also a rather sensible event for AION 2. Whatever arguments players may have about progression or monetization, the enormous floating landscapes remain one of the game's easiest qualities to appreciate.
October Is Going to Be Busy
All four events arrive while AION 2 is already dealing with a remarkably busy opening. The game has passed 171,000 concurrent Steam players during Advanced Access, NC has added 12 extra Advanced Access servers, and the free-to-play population has not even arrived yet.
Players can also collect the current AION 2 Twitch Drops alongside the community events.
So if merely playing a newly launched MMO somehow did not provide enough things to keep track of, NC has thoughtfully supplied several more.
At least some of them come with 6,000 Quna.
