A practical checklist for squeezing more progression out of every weekly cycle.
Weekly reset is one of the easiest places to lose progress in AION 2. The game spreads its value across passes, weekly-limited shops, dungeon attempts, season missions, Abyss currencies and a handful of systems that do not always scream for attention until after the timer has already rolled over.
This guide collects the most useful jobs to finish before reset so you do not leave free power on the table. It is written as a practical checklist rather than a theory lecture, and where relevant we have linked to our broader guides on gearing, dungeons and early progression.
If you are still settling into endgame systems, start with our AION 2 Fast Gearing Guide, our 10 AION 2 Things You Should Learn Early, and our AION 2 dungeon and PvE guide.
1. Cap Your Daeva Pass Weekly EXP
The easiest weekly loss is the Daeva Pass cap. If your current pass still shows unfilled weekly EXP, push activities until you hit the limit before reset. Those points become levels, and those levels become materials, consumables and pass rewards you would otherwise delay for no reason.
If you are already close to the cap, this should be one of the very last things you check before logging off for the reset window.
The Daeva Pass clearly shows a weekly EXP limit, which should be capped before reset whenever possible.
2. Buy the Weekly Specials From the Mud Breeze Merchant
The merchant shop is one of those systems people remember only after the best weekly items are gone. Check the weekly-limited section and grab the progression pieces that matter most to your character. Odyle Energy is especially valuable, while Instant Clear Tickets and other limited consumables can also be worth taking depending on your current routine.
Because some items are weekly per character and others are weekly per server, it is worth reading the limit text carefully instead of assuming everything works the same way.
Weekly-limited specials at the Mud Breeze Merchant are easy to overlook and easy to regret missing.
3. Use Your Weekly Substance Morph Conversions
If you have stacked up Fine Odyle, Pure Odyle or other morph materials, check the Substance Morph window before reset. Several conversions are weekly limited, which means an unused allowance is simply wasted progress. Even a small number of extra Odyle items can keep your next upgrade chain moving.
This is a classic cleanup task: not glamorous, but extremely efficient over time.
Substance Morph includes weekly conversion limits, so unused crafts are lost value.
4. Spend Your Daily Dungeon Tickets if They Are Stacking Up
Do not let ticket-based dungeon entries pile up for no reason. If your character is sitting on multiple Daily Dungeon attempts, convert them into actual rewards before the weekly cycle turns over. Unknown Fissure and similar entries are not the most glamorous content in the game, but they are still progression.
The general rule is simple: if a system rewards routine use and you are already holding the ticket, try to spend it.
Ticket-based daily content is one of the easiest places to convert spare time into guaranteed materials.
5. Burn Your Ascension Trial Attempts
Ascension Trial is another system that can quietly sit there untouched while you tell yourself you will come back later. Later often becomes after reset. If your weekly or daily attempts are still available, use them. Even partial progress is better than staring at unused entries after the timer rolls over.
This also helps with season mission progress and can feed into broader endgame advancement.
Unused Ascension Trial attempts are just lost rewards in a different costume.
6. Clean Up the Easy Season Missions
Season Missions reward the kind of broad participation most players are already doing: Abyss activity, Arena wins, Transcendence clears, Nightmare goals and Ascension Trial objectives. Before reset, open the mission panel and identify the easy wins you can finish quickly. Sometimes one extra run is the difference between idle progress and a finished mission.
This is one of the best screens to check when you only have thirty or forty minutes left before reset and need direction.
Season Missions provide a clean checklist for last-minute progression before reset.
7. Do Your Artifact Siege and Abyss Jobs
Abyss progression is too important to ignore. Check Artifact Siege status, spend a little time on faction activity and make sure you are not leaving easy Abyss-related progress unfinished. Even if you are not a hardcore PvP player, the broader Abyss ecosystem feeds rewards, currencies and shop access that support general character growth.
We also recommend checking the wider map state rather than running blind into whatever happens to be flashing.
Artifact Siege and other Abyss activity can feed mission progress and future shop purchases.
8. Spend Abyss Currency in the Trade Shop
There is very little romance in ending a week with capped or idle currency. Open the Abyss Trade Shop and look at the weekly-limited Growth items first. Daevanion Crystals, Stigma Shards, battle enhancement items and other progression materials are exactly the sort of value you should convert before another reset cycle begins.
If you are actively gearing, this is one of the most important weekly shop checks in the game.
The Abyss Trade Shop contains weekly-limited growth items that should not be ignored.
9. Check the Command Shop for Reset-Limited Scrolls
The Command Shop is another useful source of weekly value, particularly when quest or command scrolls are involved. These items are easy to miss because they do not always sit in the same mental category as dungeons and gear, but they still translate into useful progress.
If you are level 45 and building a weekly routine, make this shop part of it.
The Command Shop offers weekly-limited utility items that deserve a place in your routine.
10. Review the Market Before Reset
Reset windows often change supply, demand and pricing. If you are sitting on high-value materials, this is a good time to check whether selling them now makes more sense than holding them. In the example above, Wrathful Mind is trading for a healthy amount of Kina, making it exactly the kind of material worth evaluating before the next weekly cycle shifts the market again.
You do not need to become a full-time trader, but ignoring the market completely is one of the easiest ways to stay poorer than you should be.
A quick market check can turn unused materials into the Kina you need for the next upgrade wave.
A Simple Reset Routine
If you want a practical order, do it like this: check the Daeva Pass, clear weekly shops, spend limited attempts, finish easy Season Missions, then spend your remaining currencies before looking at the market. That sequence catches most of the value without turning the whole evening into spreadsheet work.
AION 2 has enough overlapping systems that reset day can feel chaotic. The trick is not doing everything perfectly. The trick is building a short, repeatable checklist so you stop missing the same rewards every week.
