Aion Classic has announced a significant server merge set to take place on September 19, 2023. The servers Siel and Nezekan will be combined, bringing about various changes and adjustments to ensure a smooth transition for players.
Key Details of the Merge:
- Date & Time: The merge will occur on September 19, 2023, during the scheduled maintenance at 3 PM PDT.
- Changed Server Settings: The Fortress Siege/Occupation status will be reset, and Silentera Canyon will be disabled until Fortresses are occupied. New sales rates and taxes will be introduced based on faction ratios.
Server Merge Rewards:
Players on both servers will receive rewards via a survey prior to the merge date. The reward period is set from September 5, 2023, to September 19, 2023, and is available for characters level 10 or above.
- Siel Rewards: Players will receive 5 [Event] Major Ancient Crown Boxes, 5 Platinum Medals, and 5 [Event] Administrator's Boons.
- Nezekan Rewards: Players will get 5 [Event] Major Ancient Crown Boxes, 10 [Event] Lv95 Enchantment Stones, 1 [Event] Elite Primus Pilus Weapon Selection Box, and 1 [Event] Elite Primus Pilus's Shoulderplates/Gloves/Shoes Selection Box.
Server Faction Overlap:
On the merged Siel server, if players have characters from both Elyos and Asmodian factions on the same account, they won't be able to create additional characters until they remove all characters from one faction. However, they can still play with both factions.
Name Changes:
All Nezekan character and legion names will be randomly generated. As compensation, all Nezekan characters will receive an [Event] Name Change Ticket, and all Nezekan legion leader characters will receive an [Event] Legion Name Change Ticket.
Item and Legion Transfers:
A comprehensive list of items, including equipped items, items in inventory, private warehouse, special cube, account warehouse, and more, will be transferred to the merged server. Legion information, excluding the legion's name, will also be transferred.
Integrated World Exchange:
To ensure a smooth merge, Siel and Nezekan servers will have limited Integrated World Exchange use from September 5 to September 19, 2023. All unsettled transactions by September 19, 2023, will be deleted, and recovery will not be possible post-merge.
Rankings:
Arena of Discipline and Harmony's ranking seasons will pause on September 5 and resume on September 19. The Arena of Glory season will halt on September 19 and restart on October 17.
Friends List:
Characters from Nezekan will be removed from players' friend lists, while characters from Siel will remain unaffected.
