It sits there in a menu, looking perfectly harmless. Perhaps you have already earned it. Perhaps you have even spent several evenings completing dungeons, gathering materials and defeating monsters to unlock it. All that remains is pressing a button.
But there is always something more urgent to do. A dungeon group is waiting, a world boss has appeared, or someone in your Legion has discovered a particularly interesting way to die.
And then the event ends.
AION 2 Global's Planet's Call Daeva Pass is scheduled to close with the October 28, 2026 maintenance, bringing its reward-earning period to an end. That makes Tuesday, October 27, the sensible time to check your progress, claim anything you have unlocked and decide whether the remaining Premium rewards are worth your Quna.
This is not the same as the longer Dawn Legion or Ishalgen Mercenary Season 1 pass, which continues into December. Planet's Call is the shorter event pass that accompanied AION 2 Global's launch, offering Odyle Energy, dungeon tickets, Resurrection Spiritstones and other useful supplies.
None of these rewards will transform a badly equipped Daeva into an unstoppable champion overnight. But several are valuable enough that forgetting them would be a rather unnecessary contribution to Atreia's growing economy of regret.
When Does Planet's Call End, and What Rewards Can You Still Claim?
Planet's Call began on September 30 alongside AION 2 Global's Early Access period. It has a free Basic reward track and an optional Premium track costing 1,000 Quna per character.
The pass contains 50 regular reward levels. Once players progress beyond those levels, further EXP can provide repeatable rewards, which is why some databases display an additional rank after level 50.
According to NC's published schedule, the current Planet's Call event concludes at the late-October maintenance, falling on October 28 in Europe. The official announcement uses Pacific-time dating, so players in different regions may see October 27 in the event notice.
For European players, the safest approach is to finish missions and claim rewards on October 27 rather than rely on being able to do so immediately before maintenance on October 28.
| Planet's Call Detail | Global Season 1 |
|---|---|
| Event Started | September 30, 2026 |
| Scheduled End | October 28 maintenance (Europe) |
| Basic Track | Free |
| Premium Track | 1,000 Quna per character |
| Regular Reward Levels | 50 |
| Weekly Pass EXP Limit | 15,000 per character |
| Additional Pass Level | 50 Quna |
| Premium Unlock Bonus | 20 Battle Enhance Scrolls |
These are character-specific rewards. Purchasing Premium on your main character does not automatically unlock it for every alternative character on the account.
That detail matters when spending Quna at the end of an event. Unlocking Premium for several characters simply because the pass is disappearing can become an expensive habit remarkably quickly.
Players should also distinguish between the Planet's Call deadline and other activities ending this week. Our October 28 deadline guide covers the separate server transfer restrictions, Conquerors of the Abyss event and temporary Odyle Energy purchase arrangements.
Planet's Call Rewards: Basic vs Premium
Planet's Call is particularly interesting because its two reward tracks offer different quantities and, in some cases, different versions of the same resource.
The free Basic track provides Small Odyle Energy consumables, while Premium offers regular Odyle Energy items. That may sound like a minor distinction, but it makes a considerable difference to how many additional dungeon rewards you can claim.
The October Global client data lists the following rewards across the regular pass progression:
| Reward | Basic | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Odyle Energy | 30 Small Odyle Energy | 31 regular Odyle Energy |
| Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets | 6 | 12 |
| Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets | 4 | 8 |
| Resurrection Spiritstones | 10 | 15 |
| Battle Enhance Scrolls | 6 | 15 |
| Daeva Pass Shop Coins | None | 15,000 |
| Premium Purchase Bonus | Not applicable | 20 additional Battle Enhance Scrolls |
The distinction between Small and regular Odyle Energy is especially important. A Small Odyle Energy item restores 10 Energy, while a regular item restores 40. That means completing the Basic track provides 300 Energy from those consumables, compared with 1,240 Energy from the 31 regular items listed on Premium.
For a character regularly clearing endgame Expeditions, that difference represents a substantial number of possible reward claims.
Our complete Odyle Energy Guide explains the regeneration limits, consumables and dungeon reward cube costs. It also explains why having enough Energy matters more than simply entering another Expedition.
Nightmare tickets are another useful reward, particularly for players working through solo boss progression. Additional attempts create opportunities to earn Phantasmal Fragments, which can be exchanged for permanent upgrades and other rewards.
We covered those systems in our Nightmare Dungeon Guide, including the different bosses, attempt limits and fragment shop.
The Premium track also awards Daeva Pass Shop Coins. Those belong to the broader Season 1 reward shop system, which is scheduled to remain available until the December maintenance.
However, do not confuse the shop's later closing date with Planet's Call itself. You still need to claim your Planet's Call rewards before this pass closes.
How to Earn Planet's Call EXP Before the Deadline
Planet's Call rewards players for many activities they would normally perform anyway, which makes it considerably friendlier than a pass demanding that you defeat the same obscure enemy several hundred times.
Unfortunately, it also means that players who have ignored it for most of October cannot expect to finish everything during a single heroic evening.
Each regular pass level requires another 700 EXP, with level 50 reached at 35,000 cumulative EXP. The weekly earning limit is 15,000 EXP per character.
Here are the EXP values published for its missions:
| Activity | Planet's Call EXP |
|---|---|
| Complete an Expedition or Transcendence | 300 |
| Defeat 10 monsters | 60 |
| Open a Hidden Cube | 50 |
| Successfully gather materials | 30 |
| Successfully craft an item | 30 |
| Successfully Soul Bind equipment | 20 |
| Successfully enhance equipment | 10 |
| Successfully extract equipment | 10 |
The most valuable listed activity is completing an Expedition or Transcendence, awarding 300 EXP. That makes dungeon content a sensible priority for anyone still collecting useful equipment, provided the relevant missions remain available.
For players who prefer exploring, Hidden Cubes award 50 EXP each, while gathering and crafting provide smaller increments. These activities can be useful when you need a little more EXP to reach the next reward level without committing to an entire dungeon run.
But there is an important distinction between the EXP awarded by an activity and how often its associated mission can actually be completed. The available mission counter and weekly cap still apply. You cannot simply assume every monster kill or crafting action will award unlimited Pass EXP.
Our Substance Morph Guide explores another side of the game's crafting economy, including why certain materials are worth preserving for weekly progression rather than converting immediately.
The sensible final-day strategy is to open the Subscribe menu, inspect the available Planet's Call missions and concentrate on activities that provide rewards you actually need.
And if your weekly EXP counter is already full, there is little point running another dungeon solely for Pass progress. The monsters will appreciate the effort, but the pass will remain unimpressed.
Should You Buy Premium or Extra Pass Levels Now?
This is where the calculation becomes interesting.
Planet's Call Premium costs 1,000 Quna, while individual pass levels cost 50 Quna each. Those are separate purchases.
Buying Premium does not automatically complete the pass, and purchasing additional levels does not automatically unlock the Premium track.
For example, a player who has reached level 45 and wants to purchase the remaining five levels would spend 250 Quna. If that player also wanted to unlock Premium, the combined expenditure would be 1,250 Quna.
Whether that represents good value depends entirely on the remaining rewards.
Players who have already completed all 50 levels can make a relatively straightforward decision. They can inspect the complete Premium reward track, consider whether the Odyle Energy, additional challenge tickets, shop coins and Battle Enhance Scrolls justify the 1,000-Quna price, then decide accordingly.
Players who have reached only a handful of levels face a different proposition. Paying for Premium does not magically unlock rewards on levels they have not reached, and purchasing every missing level can quickly cost considerably more than the pass itself.
A few examples demonstrate how those additional purchases accumulate:
| Missing Levels | Quna to Purchase Them |
|---|---|
| 3 | 150 |
| 5 | 250 |
| 10 | 500 |
| 20 | 1,000 |
For most players, completing a few remaining missions is preferable to purchasing levels unnecessarily. But if a valuable reward is only one level away and time is running out, 50 Quna may be a reasonable convenience purchase.
The important thing is to inspect the actual rewards rather than buy levels simply because the countdown has become uncomfortable.
AION 2 has plenty of worthwhile ways to spend your resources. Our Fast Gearing Guide explains how to prioritise equipment and permanent character progression, while our Gear Transfer Guide looks at the substantial costs involved in upgrading weapons and armour.
Those are worth remembering when deciding whether another handful of consumables justifies spending premium currency.
Your Last-Chance Planet's Call Checklist
Before logging out for the final time ahead of the October 28 maintenance, check the following:
- Open the Subscribe menu. Select Planet's Call rather than the longer Dawn Legion or Ishalgen Mercenary pass.
- Check your current pass level. See whether another available mission will unlock a useful reward.
- Look at the weekly EXP counter. Do not waste time chasing progress that has already reached its limit.
- Claim unlocked Basic rewards. The free track contains useful dungeon resources even if you never purchase Premium.
- Review Premium carefully. Compare the unlocked rewards against the 1,000-Quna cost before purchasing.
- Consider extra levels only when worthwhile. Buying levels for 50 Quna each should be a deliberate decision, not a reaction to the countdown.
- Check additional characters separately. Pass progress and Premium purchases are character-specific.
- Collect your rewards before maintenance. Do not assume they can still be claimed once the event has closed.
It is also worth remembering that October 28 is an important date for several other activities. Our Weekly Reset Guide helps organise recurring dungeon, shop and progression tasks, although the Planet's Call closing date is an event deadline rather than an ordinary weekly refill.
And unlike Planet's Call, the longer Dawn Legion and Ishalgen Mercenary passes are not ending this week. Their regular Season 1 progression continues into December, so there is no reason to confuse the two countdowns.
One Last Reward Before Atreia Moves On
Planet's Call has been a useful addition to AION 2's opening month. It rewards ordinary play with resources that feed directly into dungeon progression, solo challenges and equipment preparation, rather than simply asking players to complete another collection of unrelated chores.
Its Premium track will not appeal to everybody. Some players have already collected everything they wanted from Basic, while others may find the larger Odyle Energy rewards attractive enough to justify the cost.
Neither approach is wrong.
What would be unfortunate is leaving useful rewards unclaimed because they were hidden behind a menu you intended to revisit tomorrow.
With the October 28 maintenance approaching, Planet's Call is nearing its final curtain. Check your missions, collect what you have earned and make any remaining Quna decisions with a clear view of the rewards.
After all, Atreia has enough dangerous creatures without allowing a calendar to become one of them.
