Taking care of a small creature can be a lot of work—but taking care of a baby Stormwing? You may have your work cut out for you, Daevas! This little guy may one day grow up to rain down chaos on the realm, but for now he’s a Hungry Hatchling in need of your care! This baby Stormwing is in fact a Hungry Hatching that if you nurture, you’ll earn special rewards. 

Free Stormwing Egg

Start off by picking up a Newly-Hatched Stormwing Orb from the Black Cloud Marketplace for 0 Black Cloud Coins. This little egg can be used to bring your very own Stormwing to life. 
Once summoned, this little Stormwing has quests available just for you! You are limited to one Newly-Hatched Stormwing Orb per account, so make sure you pick it up with your preferred character. 

Storm Tokens To begin raising your Stormwing into the vicious adult it can become, you’ll need to gather Storm Tokens. These Tokens can be acquired through the following means: 

1. 5 Storm Tokens can be purchased for 0 Black Cloud Coin from the Black Cloud Marketplace every day for the duration of the event 
2. Earn up to 10 Storm Tokens per day by completing Lugbug missions

The Stormwing you have is mighty, but needs to be even mightier. In the main cities of Inggison and Gelkmaros, you’ll find Zudra standing by, waiting to evolve your Stormwing Hatching! 
There are 7 additional Stormwing Orbs available to purchase from Zudra with each subsequent Orb requiring an increasing amount of Storm Tokens to acquire. You must purchase these Orbs in the following order:

Minion Awakening 

Promotion Dates: August 24 – September 7 

Minion awakenings are back in fashion in the coming weeks as another official Awakening Promotion begins! 

Daevas interested in participating in the promotion need only attempt to synthesize several Grade A Rank 4 minions, and they will be awarded a Grade S Minion Contract Selection Box (10 Types). It should also be noted that Customer Support will not be offering restoration of Minion Combination items during the event, so be careful with your Combinations! The types and quantities of qualifying synthesis attempts are below: 

1. Synthesize 4 Grade A Rank 4 minions in a single attempt, regardless of success. 
2. Synthesize 3 Grade A Rank 4 minions in two separate attempts, regardless of success. 
3. Synthesize 2 Grade A Rank 4 minions in three separate attempts, regardless of success. 

Keep in mind that Synthesis attempts will be counted per account, regardless of which character they were attempted on, and Customer Support will not be able to honor token restorations for minion synthesis attempts during the promotion. 

Any Daevas which fulfill at least one of the conditions above will receive their box no later than 9/14/2022, and rewards are limited to one box per account. Rewards will be provided to the account’s first character to synthesize during the promotion.

The Dungeon’s Legacy Returns!

 Event Dates: August 17th – September 14 

We know even if you participate in most events, there’s some items you might not have had a chance to pick up. In A Dungeon’s Legacy Event, some of our glamorous costumes are blasting back from the past to grace your inventories once more! Your task? Tackle the bosses of Infernal Drakenspire Depths (Hard), Primeth’s Forge (Hard), and Heart of Apsaranta to collect your treasures. 

From August 17th to 31st, you’re challenged to descend into the Infernal Drakenspire Depths (Hard) to defeat a horde of bosses to collect Forgotten Abyssal skins. 

From September 1st to September 14th, you can take arms against Primeth’s Forge (Hard) in order to add Primal Spirit costume pieces to your collection. 

And through all four weeks of this event, journey to the heart of Apsaranta to defeat Ishkur where you’ll be able to collect Mudslime weapon skins, the Lunar Sentinel Wings, or even possibly the coveted Glass Wings Skin!

Aion Classic August Patch Preview

 Our teams have been hard at work, and we’re excited to let you know improved drop rates have arrived! In this post we’re going to go into details about what’s increasing in this particular update, as well as giving you a sneak peek at some major changes to the upcoming Daeva Pass Season 15. 

Before we jump into it, we also want to let you know you can claim this adorably fierce Stormwing as your 30-Day Pet if you act before August 31st. 

Simply answer a few short questions about the new patch using the survey system, and this little guy will be headed your way. 

Drop Rates Raising 

Drop Rates are being increased across the board. This includes all the field drops as well as Kinah drops. These boosted drop rates should help significantly to gear up for end game content!

A survey was sent out recently asking for feedback on the Daeva Pass and based on the results of this poll and your feedback, we have made significant changes for Season 15.

Auto-Hunt Guide

 Auto-Hunting is a feature in which characters automatically hunt according to their preset skills. After moving your character to the area where you want to hunt, press the 'Auto-Hunt' button to activate the feature and pressing it again will end the hunting session.

Auto-Hunting Basic Functions

You can access the system through the Auto-Hunt icon located at the top of the minimap. The default shortcut to the Auto-Hunting menu is set to Shift+A, and you can change the shortcut to your personal preference in the Key Settings menu. On the Auto-Hunt Ui, you can check the following contents through the 'Start, Settings, and Statistics' buttons respectively.

Setting	You can set the skills, items, minion functions, etc. required for auto-hunt.
Statistics	You can check the information such as items acquired through Auto-Hunt session, experience gained, etc.

Tip! In Preferences>Game Settings> Interface, you can choose to show/hide the auto-hunting Ui by selecting 'Show Battle-Assisted Control UI'.

Auto-Hunt Setup

Before using the Auto-Hunt feature, make sure you set the settings you need for a smooth hunt. The Auto-Hunt settings allow you to set up skills, recovery items, and more.

Skill Settings

For skill settings, a total of five skills can be registered, and the skills are used by the characters in the order in which they are registered. There are no skills that cannot be registered separately, and skills such as Combo Charging, etc. are applied as follows: At this point, if all registered skills are on Cooldown, the basic attack is used.

Recovery Settings

For recovery settings, you can register a potion to be used automatically when your character's HP and MP is below a certain number during the hunt. You can adjust the HP/MP level to your desired level right from the slide, and only consumable items such as potions and serums can be registered. It has been further updated to allow you to set up healing potions to treat more than just the condition.

Other Settings

In Other settings, you can choose the options you need for hunting. You can check 'Quest Monsters First' to prioritize quest targets. You can even set it to automatically sell junk items so you don’t run out of inventory space while hunting.

Enable automatic Remove Shock	When a character is in a state of shock, stun, etc., it will automatically use the Remove Shock skill.
Auto Sell Junk	If your inventory is full, sell junk items to free up space in your inventory.
Automatic use of the Experience Extractor	If your experience points reach 90% of your character's highest level, you will automatically consume an 'Experience Extractor' to gain 'Experience Marks'.
Auto adjust camera perspective	The camera perspective is automatically adjusted according to the hunting angle.

Auto-Hunting Requirements

To help with hunting in different zones, the Auto-Hunt feature is available for all levels and in all areas except areas where flight is required. Auto-hunting cannot be performed while flying. When you click on the Auto-Hunt feature during flight, a message is printed stating that it is 'not available'. It is only available during solo play, and group and alliance invitations are automatically rejected while Auto-Hunting.

Auto-Hunt Functions

If you click the Run button one more time, the hunt will stop and a stats window will automatically pop up, such as items and experience points earned during your hunting session. However, if a character dies or returns while Auto-Hunting, Auto-Hunt will automatically end. While Auto-hunting, you will target nearby enemies within 80 meters of you and automatically hunt them. However, it excludes monsters that have been attacked by other characters first.
