AION 2 Pantheon Guide: Best Statues, Artwork, Colossus and Permanent Stats

There was a time when decorating your home in an MMORPG meant arranging furniture, collecting trophies and occasionally placing an enormous statue in the middle of the room because nobody could think of a better place to put it. The rewards were mostly aesthetic, although impressing your friends was obviously an important part of the experience.

AION 2 has taken a rather different approach. Here, interior decoration can make your sword hit harder, your spells recharge faster and your character considerably more difficult to kill. Apparently, even the gods believe that a properly furnished room is the foundation of personal development.

The Pantheon is one of AION 2 Global's most useful permanent progression systems, offering 17 decoration slots that provide Divine Stats to your character. These slots include one Colossus, four Statues and twelve Artworks. Each decoration contributes different bonuses, and some of the strongest pieces can be obtained simply by completing quests, Conquest dungeons and achievements.

There is no need to spend millions of Kina filling every available space. In fact, some of the best early Pantheon upgrades cost nothing more than a little time and the ability to survive another dungeon run.

How to Unlock the Pantheon in AION 2

The Pantheon unlocks through the Ascension quest The One Who Hears the Voice, reached around level 22 during normal character progression. Once completed, the Pantheon becomes available through the main menu.

Inside, you will find a personal display hall where collected statues, paintings and larger monuments can be placed. Each decoration provides Divine Stats while displayed, giving your character permanent bonuses that are separate from ordinary armour and weapons.

One small detail causes a surprising amount of confusion: obtaining a decoration does not automatically activate it.

When you receive a Pantheon item, you must first use it from your inventory to register it in your collection. Then open the Pantheon, interact with its control panel and place the registered decoration in an appropriate slot.

If you own a statue but the Pantheon interface insists that you have nothing available to display, check whether the item is still sitting unused in your inventory. It is one of those little MMORPG inconveniences that can make a perfectly intelligent player feel briefly defeated by a menu.

Our AION 2 Fast Gearing Guide explains why systems like Pantheon deserve attention alongside equipment enhancement, Daevanion and dungeon progression.

All 17 Pantheon Slots Explained

AION 2 Global provides seventeen spaces for Pantheon decorations. Each type has its own dedicated slots, so you cannot replace a painting with another statue simply because the statue offers better statistics.

Decoration Type Available Slots Main Divine Stats
Colossus 1 Destruction, Justice, Time
Statues 4 Death, Freedom, Space
Artworks 12 Wisdom, Illusion, Destiny, Life
Total 17 Permanent character bonuses

Unlike equipment, Pantheon decorations are not enhanced through the normal gear upgrade process. You improve your Pantheon by collecting better pieces and replacing weaker decorations with stronger ones.

The Global version also provides three Pantheon presets, allowing players to maintain different arrangements. This can be useful when switching between offensive and defensive priorities, although most players will initially benefit more from filling their empty slots than from creating an elaborate collection of specialised layouts.

What Do Pantheon Divine Stats Actually Do?

Pantheon decorations contribute to a set of ten Divine Stats, sometimes called Deity Stats or God Stats in community guides. These are the same broad stat categories that appear in other permanent progression systems, including Arcana.

Each Divine Stat influences two combat attributes. In the current Global client, each point contributes approximately 0.1% to its associated effects.

Divine Stat Main Effects
Destruction Attack, Perfect Resist
Justice Defense, Perfect activation chance
Time Combat Speed, Double Resist
Death Critical Hit, Regeneration Penetration
Freedom Accuracy, Evasion
Space Movement Speed, Block Chance
Wisdom Double Chance, reduced MP consumption
Illusion Cooldown Reduction, Endurance Penetration
Destiny MP, Endurance Chance
Life HP, Regeneration activation chance

This is where Pantheon becomes much more interesting than a room full of decorative objects.

A character with 45 points in Destruction receives approximately 4.5% additional Attack through that Divine Stat. Forty-five points in Time similarly contribute approximately 4.5% Combat Speed. Those are meaningful improvements, particularly because they combine with the bonuses obtained from equipment, Arcana and other progression systems.

Damage-focused players will generally appreciate Destruction, Time, Wisdom and Illusion. Critical Hit and Accuracy are also valuable, depending on how reliably their attacks connect and whether their builds already have sufficient Critical Hit.

Defensive characters may place greater value on Justice and Life, while builds that struggle with MP management can benefit from Wisdom or Destiny.

Our AION 2 Combat Stats Guide

Best Pantheon Colossus: Zikel's Apparition

The Colossus is the centrepiece of your Pantheon, both visually and statistically. It occupies the single largest decoration slot and can provide considerably more Divine Stat points than an ordinary painting.

For most progressing Global players, the most practical long-term target is Colossus: Zikel's Apparition.

Detail Zikel's Apparition
Grade Unique
Destruction +45
Justice +45
Time +45
Total Divine Stat Points 135
Cost 14,000 Phantasmal Fragments
Source Nightmare Dungeon Shop
Unlock Requirement Defeat Zikel's Apparition on Nightmare level 1

Those bonuses translate into approximately 4.5% Attack, Defense and Combat Speed, alongside the corresponding secondary effects from each Divine Stat.

It is an enormous improvement for a single decoration.

However, there is an important catch. You cannot simply reach level 45, collect 14,000 fragments and purchase the Colossus immediately. The shop item requires a successful clear of Nightmare: Zikel's Apparition level 1.

That means you must first progress through the Nightmare boss challenges and unlock the final encounter.

Our AION 2 Nightmare Dungeon Guide explains all seven bosses, the daily attempt system, Phantasmal Fragment farming and the other rewards available through the Nightmare Shop.

Is Zikel's Apparition the Best Colossus in the Game?

Not quite.

The current Global decoration data also includes Colossus: Guardian Lord Nahma, a Heroic-grade reward associated with an Abyss field boss.

Where Zikel's Apparition provides 45 points in Destruction, Justice and Time, Guardian Lord Nahma provides 55 points in each of those same attributes.

Colossus Destruction Justice Time
Guardian Lord Nahma 55 55 55
Zikel's Apparition 45 45 45
Story Colossus Not listed 35 35

Guardian Lord Nahma is the stronger item, but acquiring it is substantially less predictable. It depends on a rare boss drop or obtaining the item through the Market, where availability and prices vary.

For most players, Zikel's Apparition is the more realistic goal because the necessary currency can be earned through repeatable progression.

Until then, the main story provides a useful starting Colossus: Incarnated Warding Feather for Elyos or Warden Santras for Asmodians. Both supply Justice and Time bonuses, making them worthwhile placeholders.

There is little reason to leave the Colossus slot empty while waiting for the perfect reward. Even the gods seem prepared to accept second-hand furniture.

Best Pantheon Statues: Transcendent Bakarma and Other Rewards

The four Statue slots provide another substantial source of permanent combat power. Unlike the Colossus, however, you can fill several of these spaces relatively early through quests and achievements.

One of the strongest obtainable statues is Statue: Transcendent Bakarma.

This Unique-grade decoration provides:

  • Death +12
  • Freedom +12
  • Space +12

That means improvements to Critical Hit, Accuracy, Movement Speed and their associated secondary statistics.

The statue is obtained through the Draupnir Conquest Clear IV achievement, which requires ten Normal clears of Draupnir Conquest.

It is an excellent progression target because the necessary dungeon runs also contribute to other aspects of character development. You are effectively working towards a permanent statistical improvement while completing content you may already have reasons to farm.

Other useful statue options include:

Statue Important Stats How to Obtain
Transcendent Bakarma Death, Freedom, Space +12 each Clear Draupnir Conquest Normal 10 times
Artifact of Eternity Death, Freedom +10 each Ascension quest progression
Asahr's Mirror Death, Space +10 each Ascension quest progression
Fortress Guardian Notun Death, Space +10 each Nightmare Shop
Kibelisk Freedom, Space +10 each Regional Kibelisk achievement

Fortress Guardian Notun costs 8,000 Phantasmal Fragments in the Nightmare Shop, so players should weigh that purchase against other permanent upgrades.

The Kibelisk statue is particularly interesting for players who enjoy exploration. It comes from activating all 61 Kibelisks in the relevant starting region, Verteron for Elyos or Altgard for Asmodians.

Completing exploration achievements while levelling can therefore provide benefits long after the original quests have been forgotten.

Important: Do Not Waste Your Weekly Dungeon Entries

There is one complication when farming Transcendent Bakarma.

AION 2 limits the number of Conquest and Transcendence clears that can be completed without claiming the Odyle Energy reward cube. These unclaimed cubes contribute to a weekly counter, and exhausting it can prevent additional dungeon entries until the next reset.

The Global client currently identifies a weekly limit of ten unobtained cubes.

This means players should not assume that skipping the reward cube allows unlimited dungeon farming.

If you intend to complete ten Draupnir runs for the statue achievement, check your remaining cube allowance before starting. Claims from other dungeons may also affect how much room you have left.

A sensible approach is to combine normal reward-eligible runs with achievement progression rather than attempting to rush every clear in one evening.

Our AION 2 Weekly Reset Guide is useful for organising dungeon entries and other limited activities without discovering that you have exhausted an allowance at the least convenient moment.

Best Pantheon Artworks: Which Paintings Should You Collect?

The twelve Artwork slots make up most of the Pantheon. Individually, paintings usually provide fewer Divine Stat points than Statues or Colossi, but filling twelve spaces can produce a substantial combined bonus.

For many PvE builds, Wisdom and Illusion are particularly attractive.

Wisdom improves Double Chance and reduces MP consumption. Illusion contributes Cooldown Reduction and Endurance Penetration. These bonuses can improve combat efficiency regardless of whether a player relies on melee attacks or powerful magical abilities.

Artworks that provide both stats are therefore worth watching for.

Useful Pantheon Artworks and Where to Find Them

Artwork Useful Divine Stats Source
Krao Illusion +4, Wisdom +4 Krao Cave Conquest
Draupnir Illusion +4, Wisdom +4 Draupnir Conquest or quest
Vakron Sky Island Illusion +4, Wisdom +4 Vakron Conquest
Ferocious Horn Den Illusion +4, Wisdom +4 Ferocious Horn Den Conquest
Abyssal Ludra Illusion +5, Wisdom +5 Ludra achievement
Shugo Festival Paintings Illusion +3, Wisdom +3 Festival Shop
Eternal Gartua Illusion +5, Wisdom +5 Rare high-end reward or Market

Some of these artworks provide additional Divine Stats, such as Life or Destiny, alongside the offensive attributes shown in the table.

The four Conquest-related paintings are excellent early targets. They offer useful bonuses and can be obtained through activities that support ordinary PvE progression.

Abyssal Ludra is another attractive option, rewarding players for defeating Ludra three times through the associated achievement.

Players looking for some of the strongest artwork options can eventually investigate rare world-boss rewards and expensive Market listings. However, these are luxury upgrades rather than essential requirements for building a useful Pantheon.

A painting that costs an enormous amount of Kina may look impressive, but it will not suddenly transform a badly organised character into an unstoppable force.

Elyos vs Asmodian Pantheon Artwork Farming

Both factions use the same Pantheon system, but some artwork sources differ between their regions.

Elyos characters can concentrate on the shared Conquest paintings and then investigate additional artworks from Verteron field bosses, including Black Tentacle Lawa, Divine Ansas and Phantasm Kasia.

Asmodian characters have access to additional useful Conquest artwork sources, including Urugugu and Fire Temple, alongside field-boss rewards from Altgard.

Market availability can also differ between factions and servers, which means there is no universal price list worth following without checking the actual listings.

For players who enjoy targeted exploration, this offers another reason to complete older regional content rather than treating every activity below level 45 as irrelevant.

Should You Buy Pantheon Artworks From Shugo Festival?

The Shugo Festival Shop provides another route towards filling your Artwork slots.

Current Global shop data includes faction-specific paintings costing approximately 2,000 Centuryroot Tokens each, offering Wisdom and Illusion bonuses.

That is useful, but there is an important opportunity cost.

Centuryroot Tokens can also purchase Daevanion Crystals, Stigma Shards and other progression materials. Spending several thousand tokens on decorative upgrades may delay improvements that provide more immediate combat power.

For most new level-45 characters, I would prioritise the important limited progression purchases before buying expensive artwork purely to fill another Pantheon slot.

Our AION 2 Shugo Festival Guide explains how to earn Centuryroot Tokens, manage Reward Keys and choose the most valuable rewards from the Festival Shop.

There is nothing wrong with buying paintings early if they provide exactly the stats your character needs. Just remember that some shop resources are harder to replace than they initially appear.

Pantheon vs Daevanion, Stigma and Arcana: What Should You Upgrade First?

One of AION 2's more entertaining habits is presenting every progression system as though it deserves your complete attention immediately.

Daevanion wants your crystals. Stigma wants your shards. Arcana wants your Kina and Mysterious Crystals. Pantheon wants statues, paintings and whatever fragments you were hoping to spend elsewhere.

The sensible approach is to look at the actual improvement each purchase provides.

For example, a Daevanion Crystal may help you reach an important passive bonus or another major node. Stigma Shards may unlock a powerful specialisation level. A Pantheon Colossus, meanwhile, can provide several significant stat bonuses at once.

Our AION 2 Daevanion Guide explains how to choose efficient board routes, while the Stigma Guide covers the important skill breakpoints and their associated costs.

Arcana is another useful comparison because its cards also provide Divine Stats. Our Complete Arcana Guide explains why choosing the correct stats and skill bonuses can matter more than simply equipping the rarest card available.

These systems should be considered together rather than treated as isolated upgrade menus.

Best Pantheon Upgrade Order for New Players

For characters beginning to work seriously on their Pantheon, I would recommend the following route:

  1. Unlock the Pantheon through Ascension progression and register any decorations already in your inventory.
  2. Fill empty spaces with available quest and achievement rewards, even when they are not your ideal final choices.
  3. Collect the accessible Conquest artworks, particularly pieces that provide Wisdom and Illusion.
  4. Complete Draupnir Conquest Normal ten times to obtain the Transcendent Bakarma statue.
  5. Work on regional Kibelisk achievements for another useful Statue option.
  6. Progress through Nightmare while collecting Phantasmal Fragments and improving your character.
  7. Unlock and purchase Zikel's Apparition when you can defeat its Nightmare level-1 encounter and afford the 14,000-fragment cost.
  8. Use Shugo Festival artwork purchases selectively, after considering your remaining Stigma and Daevanion priorities.
  9. Replace weaker Artworks with rare field-boss drops or suitable Market purchases when resources permit.
  10. Optimise your final stat distribution according to your class, content and other permanent bonuses.

This gives new players a practical progression path without requiring every rare decoration to be obtained immediately.

Most importantly, it avoids leaving useful slots empty while waiting for an expensive item that might take weeks to acquire.

Common Pantheon Mistakes to Avoid

The first mistake is collecting decorations without registering or displaying them. The game provides no bonus for owning a beautiful statue that spends its entire existence buried somewhere in your inventory.

The second is chasing rarity while ignoring useful stats. A slightly weaker decoration providing the specific bonuses your character needs can be more valuable than a prestigious item with less relevant attributes.

The third is spending all your limited event currency on paintings while ignoring important permanent progression purchases. Pantheon matters, but it is only one part of the larger character development system.

The fourth is forgetting about weekly dungeon restrictions while farming achievements. Running out of unobtained cube allowance can leave you unable to complete other activities before the reset.

Finally, remember that Pantheon decorations are character-specific. Building a magnificent collection on your main character does not automatically furnish the Pantheon of every alternative character on your account.

Apparently, the gods have not discovered shared interior design yet.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pantheon

How many Pantheon slots are available in AION 2 Global?

There are seventeen slots: one Colossus, four Statues and twelve Artworks. Each decoration type uses its own dedicated spaces.

Does Pantheon unlock at level 45?

No. The system becomes available earlier through Ascension quest progression, around level 22. However, several of its strongest decorations come from higher-level activities.

Do Pantheon decorations need to be equipped?

Yes. First register the item from your inventory, then place it in the correct Pantheon slot. Decorations sitting unused in your inventory do not provide their displayed bonuses.

Can Pantheon decorations be upgraded?

They are not enhanced like ordinary equipment. Instead, players obtain stronger decorations and replace their existing pieces.

What is the best Pantheon Colossus?

Guardian Lord Nahma offers the strongest listed Global bonuses among the currently documented Colossi, with 55 points each in Destruction, Justice and Time. Zikel's Apparition provides 45 points in the same stats and is the more predictable progression target.

How do you unlock Zikel's Apparition?

You must defeat Zikel's Apparition on Nightmare level 1, then purchase the Colossus for 14,000 Phantasmal Fragments from the Nightmare Dungeon Shop.

Does Pantheon progress transfer between characters?

No. Pantheon decorations and their bonuses are registered per character. Separate characters must build their own collections.

Why Pantheon Is Worth Building Early

Pantheon is one of those systems that rewards patience rather than spectacular individual upgrades. A single painting may provide only a modest bonus, but twelve artworks, four statues and a powerful Colossus can add up to a substantial increase in permanent character power.

Better still, many of the necessary decorations come from activities you should already be considering: quests, achievements, Conquest dungeons and Nightmare progression.

That makes Pantheon less about spending enormous amounts of money and more about making sure you actually collect the rewards available along the way.

For new players, the goal should be simple: unlock the system, fill the easy slots, pursue Transcendent Bakarma and gradually work towards Zikel's Apparition. The expensive world-boss artworks can wait until your character is strong enough that finding another fractional improvement has become a serious concern.

It may not be the most traditional way to improve your combat abilities. But in a world where magical cards, ancient statues and glowing paintings can make you significantly stronger, perhaps the strangest thing about AION 2 is that nobody has tried to sell the Pantheon as a luxury apartment.

Give the Shugos another few weeks.
