AION 2 Changes Odyle Energy Boost to Four Items Per Account Daily

With Sanctuary Raid: Ludra returning on November 4, AION 2 Global players have been given another opportunity to prepare their characters for the fight. NC's Odyle Energy Boost event provides free dungeon reward resources every day, but a change to the promotion's rules has created an important distinction for anyone playing more than one character.

On October 27, NC updated its official Ludra event announcement to confirm that players can receive four Odyle Energy items per account, per day. The previous arrangement had been announced as two items per character, per day.

For someone playing a single character, the new offer is more generous. For players maintaining several characters, however, moving from a character-based reward to an account-wide limit changes the calculation considerably.

There is another detail worth paying attention to: the rewards arrive through in-game mail, and each event message expires seven days after delivery. Forgetting to check your mailbox could therefore cost you valuable dungeon resources before Ludra even returns.

Four Odyle Energy Per Account: What Changed?

Odyle Energy Boost began after the October 28 maintenance and is scheduled to conclude before the November 11 maintenance in Europe. NC lists the ending as the November 10 maintenance in Pacific time, reflecting the regional difference in maintenance schedules.

Under the updated rules, players log in once per day, open their in-game mailbox and claim a delivery containing four Odyle Energy items. NC explicitly specifies one delivery per account per day.

Event Detail Confirmed Global Rule
Daily reward 4 Odyle Energy items
Distribution limit Once per account, per day
Delivery method In-game mail
Start date October 28, after maintenance
End date in Europe November 11, before maintenance
Mail expiration 7 days after delivery

The account-wide restriction is particularly significant because the earlier announced terms described two items per character. It is tempting to call the updated arrangement a simple doubling of the reward, but that would only be accurate for players with one eligible character.

Under the previously announced arrangement, three characters could theoretically have received six items between them each day. The revised arrangement provides four to the account as a whole, regardless of how many characters are played.

Characters Earlier Announced Reward Updated Account Reward
1 2 per day 4 per day
2 4 per day 4 per day
3 6 per day 4 per day
4 8 per day 4 per day

This comparison illustrates the difference between the two announced reward structures. It does not mean that the earlier quantities were necessarily distributed before the October 28 event began.

NC has not provided a detailed explanation for why it changed the distribution limit. A more generous reward for single-character accounts and a tighter limit for accounts with multiple characters are both consequences of the new rules, but neither establishes the developer's underlying intention.

Players should also distinguish Odyle Energy Boost from the Atreia's Call attendance event. The latter has its own 28-day reward track and delivers items directly through the Attendance interface. Odyle Energy Boost uses account mail, and its seven-day message expiration makes the claiming process more time-sensitive.

How Much Extra Dungeon Energy Is Four Items Worth?

The revised daily reward is valuable because Odyle Energy governs reward collection from eligible Expedition and Transcendence dungeons. Completing a dungeon and having enough Energy to claim its reward cube are separate considerations, and repeated clears alone do not provide an unlimited supply of loot.

As explained in our AION 2 Odyle Energy Guide, a regular Odyle Energy consumable restores 40 Energy. Four regular items therefore represent 160 additional Energy per claimed daily delivery.

That is enough for four standard 40-Energy reward claims, assuming the player completes eligible content and has the necessary reward opportunities available. It does not guarantee four valuable equipment drops, nor does it remove other dungeon restrictions.

Over several days, the cumulative reward becomes more interesting. Seven successfully claimed daily deliveries would provide 28 items, equivalent to 1,120 Energy at the standard consumable value.

The announced event window spans fourteen calendar dates, from October 28 through November 10. If a player receives and claims a delivery on all fourteen dates, the theoretical total would be 56 items, equivalent to 2,240 Energy. That is a calculation from the daily allowance, not a separately guaranteed cumulative reward; actual availability remains subject to the event's daily delivery and maintenance timing.

Nor should the total be mistaken for an amount players can necessarily store all at once. AION 2 has separate Energy limits, including a maximum of 2,000 Energy when consumables are used. Managing the resource across several dungeon sessions is therefore more sensible than attempting to stockpile everything immediately.

Under the current Global system, Energy naturally regenerates by 15 points every three hours, up to the normal storage limit of 560. Special Quai Membership increases that limit to 840 but does not accelerate regeneration. Allowing naturally regenerated Energy to remain at its cap for too long wastes future recovery, so players should consider their existing balance before deciding when to use consumables.

The timing is especially relevant because Sanctuary Raid: Ludra returns November 4. NC has confirmed revised mechanics and immediate availability of both difficulties, with minimum Item Levels of 2,800 for Normal and 3,000 for Hard.

Our Ludra raid preview covers the new requirements and the regional first-clear competition. The Energy promotion is part of NC's effort to give players more opportunities to improve their equipment before that encounter becomes available.

Characters still working towards those requirements can use existing dungeons to pursue upgrades. The Krao Cave and Draupnir Hard Modes, for example, require Item Level 2,600 and provide additional progression materials. More reward claims can help with that process, although the quality of any individual drop remains uncertain.

Claim Your Mail Before It Expires

The most immediate mistake players can make has nothing to do with dungeon strategy.

NC specifies that each Odyle Energy Boost message expires seven days after it is received. A player who logs in occasionally but leaves reward messages untouched may therefore lose items that were already delivered to the mailbox.

The simplest approach is to check account mail whenever you log in, claim the available delivery and inspect the resulting items before deciding how to spend them.

There is no requirement to defeat Ludra or purchase a Premium Pass to receive the announced daily delivery. The account-wide restriction does mean that logging into several alternative characters should not be expected to generate additional rewards.

Once the Energy has been collected, the best use depends on your character's progression. Spending everything on low-level equipment that will soon be replaced may be less valuable than saving some consumables for harder content you can reliably complete.

Our Fast Gearing Guide explains how to prioritise meaningful upgrades rather than spreading limited resources across temporary equipment.

There are also other sources of Energy. The Prelude to Flight Daeva Pass includes both regular and Small Odyle Energy rewards depending on the track, while Substance Morph offers conversion recipes for obtaining additional supplies. These are separate progression systems and should not be confused with the daily Ludra event mail.

For players using one main character, the updated Odyle Energy Boost arrangement offers a useful improvement over the originally announced quantity. For players maintaining several characters, the move to an account-wide allowance may be less attractive.

Either way, the confirmed reward is four items per account per day, with seven days to claim each delivered message. That is the rule players should follow when planning their remaining preparations for Ludra.

Atreia has always offered plenty of ways to lose a difficult battle. Losing free dungeon resources because they expired in the mailbox would be a rather less heroic achievement.

Official source: NC – Ludra Awakens on November 4th, published October 23, 2026, and updated October 27 to confirm four Odyle Energy per account per day. NC updated other parts of the announcement again on October 30. Event details may change through subsequent notices.

AION 2 Atreia's Call Guide: All 28 Login Rewards and December Deadlines

In AION 2, a better character usually comes at the price of another dungeon run, another expensive upgrade or another evening spent searching Atreia for resources. The new Atreia's Call event offers a less demanding alternative: open the Attendance menu, collect a reward and return to whatever trouble your character was already getting into.

Introduced with the October 28, 2026 Global update, the 28-day attendance track includes 8,000 Soul Crystals, eight Odyle Energy items, 40 Battle Enhance Scrolls and six Soul Codex: Reset items if every milestone is claimed. Those are useful supplies, especially for players still developing their Genus boards and dungeon equipment. There are two details worth understanding before treating the calendar as free storage, however: rewards can only be claimed once per server, and certain event items are scheduled for removal in December.

How Atreia's Call Works

Atreia's Call began after the October 28 maintenance and is scheduled to finish before the December 2, 2026 maintenance in Europe. Find the track under In-Game Menu > Attendance. This is a login-based reward calendar, not the separate Prelude to Flight Daeva Pass. There are no Pass EXP missions or Premium purchase attached to the published Atreia's Call rewards.

NC's rules say that each attendance reward may be claimed once per server. All event items are non-tradable and arrive directly in the inventory after they are claimed, rather than in the mailbox. Do not assume that every alternative character can independently collect the same reward track, and check the receiving inventory before reporting a missing item.

The event contains 28 claimable days within a period longer than four weeks, giving players some room to miss a login. The official notice does not, however, explain a paid catch-up system or guarantee that a missed reward can be recovered. Claim your available day regularly instead of relying on an unannounced make-up feature.

Reset-time warning: the attendance notice describes a daily reset at midnight Pacific time. That converts to approximately 08:00 in Denmark before the US switches to standard time on November 1, and 09:00 CET afterwards. A separate patch-note line also mentions 08:00 CET, without clearly accounting for the clock change. Use the timer displayed in the Global client's Attendance menu as the final authority. Our AION 2 Weekly Reset Guide covers how this daily activity fits around the game's other recurring limits.

All 28 Atreia's Call Rewards

NC has published every day's item and quantity. The pattern is deliberately predictable: Soul Crystals appear on days 6, 13, 20 and 27, followed by Odyle Energy on days 7, 14, 21 and 28. This makes the end of each seven-day stretch particularly attractive to players interested in longer-term progression.

24Content Usage Ticket Selection Chest1
25Unknown Fissure Challenge Ticket2
26Battle Enhance Scroll10
27Soul Crystal2,000
28Odyle Energy2

Across all 28 milestones, the complete total is 8,000 Soul Crystals, eight Odyle Energy, 40 Battle Enhance Scrolls, 30 Resurrection Spiritstones, 20 Artisan's Roasted Fogus, 20 Life Crystals, six Soul Codex: Reset, two Content Usage Ticket Selection Chests and four Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets. These figures are calculated from NC's official daily table, not estimated drop rates or rewards that arrive automatically after one login.

Atreia's Call is separate from Prelude to Flight, which has its own 50-level Basic and Premium reward tracks. Players can participate in both, but their progression rules, currencies and claim windows should not be mixed together.

Which Rewards Are Worth Planning Around?

Soul Crystals are the headline reward for Genus progression. Four payments of 2,000 add up to 8,000 bound crystals, a welcome supply for anyone improving Pet and Genus Insight. Our Pet and Genus Insight Guide explains why the crystals become valuable when upgrading board statistics, especially once locked lines make repeated Analysis more expensive. The crystals are also obtainable through activities such as the new Odylium Repository and the open-world treasure hunting covered in our Hidden Cube Guide. Unlike a dungeon run, the attendance reward does not compete for an entry.

Odyle Energy is the other major reason to finish the track. Two items appear at the end of each seven-day block, for eight in total. Odyle Energy is used when claiming rewards from eligible dungeon content; it is not simply another dungeon-entry ticket. Its usefulness depends on the content you can clear and the reward cubes you intend to claim. Our Odyle Energy Guide explains regeneration, storage limits and how consumables fit into that system. Consider when to use the event supply rather than consuming it automatically on collection.

Soul Codex: Reset and challenge tickets are practical extras. The six Reset items can help players rework equipment bonuses; our Soul Binding Guide explains when a full Reset makes sense instead of improving existing lines. The two Content Usage Ticket Selection Chests deserve a check in the live client before opening: NC's attendance announcement names the chests but does not provide their full selection contents. Four Unknown Fissure Challenge Tickets offer further attempts at the associated activity, while Resurrection Spiritstones and combat consumables reduce the ordinary cost of experimentation with difficult encounters.

None of these supplies needs to be presented as an extraordinary windfall on its own. Their strength is cumulative: an active character receives several weeks of useful materials without taking on another demanding progression task. For a game that already offers plenty of those, the simplicity is part of the appeal.

December 2 End Date and December 16 Item Removal

December 2 is the expected European event-end maintenance date. One line in NC's standalone attendance notice also says December 1 while calling it a Wednesday; December 1, 2026 is actually a Tuesday. The accompanying Global patch notes identify Wednesday, December 2. Check the live event countdown as maintenance approaches, rather than treating the contradictory notice line as a separate additional day.

A second deadline affects some of the items themselves. NC's event notice lists the following rewards for removal at 00:00 PST on December 16, 2026, equivalent to 09:00 CET:

Item listed in removal tableRemoval date
Odyle Energy (Bound)December 16, 2026
Unknown Fissure Challenge Ticket (Bound)December 16, 2026
Content Usage Ticket Selection Chest (Bound)December 16, 2026

There is one genuine inconsistency in NC's wording. Its removal table specifies Odyle Energy (Bound), but a subsequent note refers to Small Odyle Energy (Bound), with an apparent repeated word in the original notice. We cannot resolve that conflict by guessing which item the developer meant. Check the expiry tooltip on the actual reward and any newer NC clarification, and use affected event items before the stated removal date.

The notice does not list a December 16 removal for every other attendance reward. That is not a promise that every unlisted item can be kept indefinitely: individual inventory tooltips remain the safest reference.

Atreia's Call is not the flashiest addition to AION 2's October update. There are no new bosses to master and no elaborate currency exchange to calculate. It does, however, reward a habit most active players already have, and its Soul Crystals and Energy are useful far beyond the Attendance screen. Claim the days you can, check the December deadlines and resist the temptation to leave consumables untouched until they vanish. Even a veteran Daeva should not lose a reward to the calendar.
